Reading “Ezekiel Option” and reflecting some of the book of the chapter’s in book of “Ezekiel” during the two weeks vacation though I didn’t plan to really spend the Christmas and New Year with my aunt, uncle and cousin in the province I am grateful that by God’s grace He enables me to do just that. I found enough time to finish reading the book. J It’s so amazing that God answered my queries regarding the new teaching I am learning about “The End Times” and “Jesus Christ Second Coming”.
This year 2012 is a transition in my understanding of knowing more of not just “Who Jesus Christ is” but as well breaking through the familiarity of where He is in my life right now. It’s like understanding Him more and discovering Him in my prayer life, if I am actively participating in His Divine Plans and Purposes?
It’s like asking what is God’s assessment of my life, how am I doing in His perspective? Am I growing enough to understand better His ways and character because there are lots of “spiritual things” I am going through last year. It’s more than I asked for and expected from God. I mean of spiritual things is that God’s amazing grace is so abundant that He will enable us to understand it not “completely” right away. The start of this year is like I just take a new “breath”. This is the first time I became aware of the so called I have “Spiritual Life”. It’s like the awareness that in the person of Jesus Christ I have everything, God provided everything in this life and life that is to come. The understanding of His Divine Plan, His Sovereignty is what I appreciate more. God is the God of the universe, of all kinds of race of people in the world. It is so amazing how God will listen to every people’s prayer no matter what they’re nationalities are. Looking back on how God make me improve my prayer life, it starts with the understanding that God loves Filipino people and I truly believe that. However, it’s not so easy though to be just myself especially how Filipino think (the inferiority mindset), how we looked down on ourselves as a Filipino and there I found out that Philippines as a nation have a divine calling so are we as a Filipino and my question is where are we right now on this? Are we fulfilling God’s calling for us, as a Filipino, as Nation most probably? This is how I see and understand that God’s purpose is larger than life itself. God is love, He created Filipino people and definitely He love Filipino. But the most profound meaning I understand about this is that God does not create everything by chance or nothing exists by any person’s will. J
By God’s grace He enables me to have a vibrant prayer life, the tool we can use for communication to God. For me, as student way back in college, I am amazed how communication works? Wants to discover more of it and share the joy on how God loves to communicate through His written word in the Bible. He wants Himself to be known to His people so that they will revere His Holy Name.
Psalm 139 from the Purpose Driven life book, I think I knew of this and last year God enable me to understand it deeper. The God of Israel, the Lord of Host is interested in every living creature that He created whether rich or poor, beautiful or ugly, intelligent or not, white complexion or black whatever race they are for God created them in His image. Every creature that has breath meant to be with God forever; that is the Divine Plan at least this is what Sovereign will for human race is. God knows how to make me laugh when I am sad, God knows how to let me just talk and He will just listen to me without judging me but with loving and listening ear. God knows without a doubt and see the whole picture of my life but the most important lesson is that no matter what we are going through we should not forget to give thanks to Him. God is the one in control and take hold of my life that’s why I am still here standing in His presence. I believe it’s a matter of willingly lay down our life for Jesus Christ and let Him use our lives as a blessing because He blessed us with so much glorious riches in this lifetime and the life to come. I am so grateful to understand God profoundly by reflecting in His Word and continually look for God in every situation as I allow Him to work it out all, His Divine Plan. It’s all about God, His precious son Jesus Christ, His Holy Name. J
In reading the “People in Prayer” book, in the life of Abraham, Jacob, Moses, David, Daniel, Hannah and Job the truth that always will prevail in prayer life of every Christian is that God knows well everything but we still need to pray for our own sake and God’s Name – the bottom line is relationship.
God knows His plans and looking for people whom He can bless and be a blessing to the nation, family, work place and the community. It is important for us to always not just connect with the Holy Spirit leading but most of all submit to His will. I understand now, God’s will for His church is not separate in what He will fulfill in the life of people outside the church. The first person that God wants to change in order to bless the community is the Christian within that community. The church itself in every city is God’s presence where life of living water flows – the prayer life of church is the key.
This is beyond my expectation how God will move as He lead me on to commit in prayer for my family, church, work place and nation. Whatever our prayer life is going through, we can always depend on God and let Him take control on how and what to pray for. Obedience and commitment to God is all that matter.
